General Terms and Conditions

for participation in courses offered by the massage training course by Manuela Spaggiari

 

​1. Scope of agreement

These terms and conditions apply to participation in the massage training course provided by Manuela Spaggiari. By registering, participants acknowledge and accept these conditions as binding.

2. Registration and payment

​

Registration must be completed in writing and accompanied by full payment of the course fee via bank transfer. A registration is considered confirmed only once payment has been received. Participants will then receive a confirmation email containing all relevant course information

3. Payment Terms

​

To reserve their spot, the participant should transfer 30% of the course fee. The entire course fee must be paid no later than 10 days before the course begins. Payment is made via bank transfer to the specified account.

4. Withdrawal / Cancellation

​

By submitting payment, participants expressly waive their statutory 14-day right of withdrawal in accordance with § 356(4) BGB. This waiver takes effect upon receipt of full payment.

Participant cancellations are subject to the following terms:

 

  • More than 90 days before course start: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee

  • Up to 90 days before course start: 50% refund minus a 10% administrative fee

  • Less than 30 days before course start: No refund

 

Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to: info@manuela-yoga-massage.com. Emails received on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

 

In exceptional medical cases that genuinely prevent participation, a partial refund may be considered upon submission of a valid medical certificate from a licensed physician. The decision is at the sole discretion of the organizer.

 

Participants who are unable to complete the course due to personal or health-related reasons are not entitled to a refund. However, they may re-enroll in a future session within one year at 50% of the standard course fee, subject to availability.

5. Course Cancellation and Changes

​

The course organizer reserves the right to cancel courses due to insufficient participation or other important reasons. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

6. Admission Requirements

​

Participation is open to adults (18+) who are physically fit to attend the course. Any medical conditions must be disclosed in advance.

Participants are fully responsible for their health and well-being during the training. Course content must only be applied in accordance with the participant's level of qualification and applicable legal regulations.

Participants residing outside Germany are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws regarding the practice of massage or bodywork in their own countries.

Those with pre-existing health concerns are advised to consult a medical professional before enrolling. The organizer is not liable for health issues arising during participation.​​

Participation is at the participant’s own risk. The school is not liable for personal or property damage unless caused by gross negligence or intent.

7. Fees and invoicing

​

The course fee is exempt from VAT under § 4 Nr. 21 UStG (educational services). Any applicable discounts or vouchers will be reflected in the invoice.

The fee includes access to required reading materials and course literature.

​

 

8. Final Examination / Certification

​

A final practical examination is available at the end of the training and incurs an additional fee of €60.

 

Participants who are unable to complete the training may rejoin a future session within one year at 50% of the published course fee, provided there is space available.

 

Upon completion of the course, participants may choose to take an internal practical exam.

 

Those who successfully complete the exam in Berlin will be awarded an ITM Certificate. If a participant opts not to take the exam, they will receive a Certificate of Participation.

9. Copyright and Materials

​

Course materials are protected by copyright and may not be copied or distributed without permission.

Course materials are intended for the exclusive use of the registered participant. They may not be resold, reproduced, or distributed without express written permission. All content is protected by copyright under German law.

8. Data Protection

​

Personal data is treated confidentially and used solely for the purpose of course administration.

Participant data is used to manage registrations, organize the training, and issue certificates. In accordance with Article 6(1)(b), (c), and (f) of the GDPR, participants may occasionally receive relevant updates or offers. You may opt out at any time by emailing: info@manuela-yoga-massage.com
